Director - Mat Moore
Growing up I decided at a very young age I enjoyed hard work and working outdoors. Through college I received merits in carpentry, furniture making and automotive engineering.
I set my journey of becoming a carpenter after leaving school just after turning 16. My goal was to be the best in the industry. I worked with three employers while serving my apprenticeship, which gave me good variety and experience. In this time a company I worked for also done drain laying so I tried my hand drain laying for a short time.
You will find me in the office helping with the day to day running of Moore Construction Company. When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with the family and holidaying at the beach.
I am your project manager, you will see me at our weekly meetings, running the site as well as overseeing our staff and subcontractors. When I’m not at work I am with my family or On my boat fishing.
You will see me on site as site manager typically assisting with day to day running of the site. When I’m not at work I will be at the racetrack as a fire rescue marshal.
You will find me on site throughout the build, assisting with all carpentry work. I am originally from Korea and have been in NZ for over 25 years. When I’m not at work you can find me cooking, watching motorsport or convincing my wife why I need to by a jet ski.
I had a major job for Mat and his team at Moore Construction company to renovate my mother’s house for sale after a house fire and I was delighted at the result.
