Director - Mat Moore
Growing up I decided at a very young age I enjoyed hard work and working outdoors.
Through college I received merits in carpentry, furniture making and automotive engineering.
I set my journey of becoming a carpenter after leaving school just after turning 16. My goal was to be the best in the industry. I worked with three employers while serving my apprenticeship, which gave me good variety and experience. In this time a company I work for also done drain laying so I tried my hand drain laying for a short time.
I became qualified at 23 and started to run residential sites. Which I enjoyed working alongside other sub trades. I then became a sole trader contracting to other company’s building and site managing. In this time I got to work on Waiheke Island building a $1.3m batch, then went to a $2.8m job in St Healiers building two houses which we achieved a silver and bronze master builder house of the year awards for.
In 2012 I started Moore Construction Company to cater to the building industry that was lacking in so many areas. I believe in total professionalism and delivering the highest quality workmanship to set us apart from the others. Hence we have built reputation on those values and good communication skills with clients. We only use certified building products to ensure the highest quality finish to walk away at the end of a job knowing it will be around for a long time to come.
All our tradesmen are of the highest quality to achieve the demanding standards of workmanship and safety that are the driving force behind everything we do at Moore Construction Company.
We also work with only a select few of the highest quality and most professional subcontractors on site. These are people who we have worked with for many years and have established a good working relationship and the high degree of trust.
